About Nikki

Hello there! I am Nikki Ready, a Boston-based performer with an insane love of acting, singing, and dancing. Since I caught the “acting bug” from my first performance in The Music Man (see photo), I have devoted myself to the world of stage plays and musicals, performing in Greater Boston theaters, teaching young artists musical theater dance, and getting involved in classes and the theater community whenever possible.

I owe so much of my passion and skill to my mentors: Cailin Dyke Kelly at Ensemble Performing Arts Studio, my high school teachers Jim Howard and Rob Goldman, and, more recently, Brandon Grimes, Paula Plum, Noel Smith, and Rachel Bertone! Through these pros, I cultivated my love of theater and was exposed to amazing opportunities such as the Emerson Play Festival for high school students, Boston Conservatory Musical Theater Dance Intensive, acting in the Boston Theater Marathon, and my latest adventure, the Shakespeare & Company January Intensive.

I received my BA in Theater from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2021. Since then, I have most notably appeared in The Play that Goes Wrong and Urinetown with The Concord Players, and in Curtains with The Savoyard Light Opera Company. All three shows have been nominated for EMACT DASH awards, with The Play That Goes Wrong winning best play in 2024!

When I’m not onstage, you can find me working on social media/marketing for my local bookstore, obsessing over a new favorite artist or author, or spending as much time as I can get with friends, family, or my dog, Belle.
My gratitude for this theater community is never-ending, and I constantly strive to share its joy with others! If you’re reading this, I’d love to connect through my contact page or via socials (find me on Instagram @nikkiisready).

Until the next adventure,
Nikki
